Halloween is almost here!, Giant Pumpkins and Jack O’ Lanterns will start to appear in the World of Cabal. As this day comes, the Nevarethan Sages have sanctioned a massive hunt for Giant Pumpkins and Jack O’ Lanterns all around the world of CABAL.

By vanquishing monsters all over Nevareth, pumpkins and lanterns containing great items will be dropped. Among the items in the loot are some valuable crafting materials, dungeon passes and Halloween Potions/Candies!

CABAL Super Pumpkin Event

 Little Jack Event

1. Small pumpkins called “Little Jack” will drop from monsters in all maps.
2. Players can get tickets from these pumpkins. Tickets have random points (0 to 5) with which players can collect items by collecting points.
3. The top 3 point collectors in each server will receive an Astral Bike-RW3 [Permanent, Account binding]
4. A random draw will be conducted to choose 7 players, who gather at least 1 point, to win a Zero Black Astral Board [Permanent, Account binding]
5. Astral vehicles will be awarded to the players after the event ends on November 4.

Giant Pumpkin Event

1. Players can hunt for CABAL Lanterns and Jack O’ Lanterns. There will only be 2 Lanterns and 20 Jack O’ Lanterns in each map.
2. CABAL Lanterns will randomly reappear every 1 to 5 hours. Jack O’ Lanterns will randomly re-spawn every 30 minutes.

CABAL National Tournament Mechanics

Tournament Style:

4-on-4 Knockout Elimination

·         Each team will have 4 members

·         Every round consists of 1 participant from each side.

·         The winning participant can complete again, whereas the loser gets knocked out from the current match.

·         The battle will continue until one side’s team is completely knocked out.

 Characters:

·         A set of premade characters (Level 170 and equipped with Mithril Set +7), will be used in during the qualifying matches.

Divisions:

·         Bluestin Weight

o    Qualifications: Character Levels 30 – 80

·         Osmium Weight

o    Qualifications: Character Levels 81 – 120

·         Mithril Weight

o    Qualifications: Character Levels 121 – 170

 A user’s division will be decided upon their first match. It can no longer and will not be changed as they made their first match. Division Prize will vary depending on the level of the average level of all the participants in the finals.

 Requirements

·         All tournament participants need to be a member of the CABAL Club. Membership costs 50 pesos / mo.

·         He/she will be qualified on a division depending on his highest level character declared.

·         He/she should not be banned. If he/she is, then he should avail of the bail.

·         If he/she is permanently banned though. He/she cannot join the event.

 Event Proper

·         In every area, we’ll be targeting 6 iCafes.

·         3 will be used for Free Plays and 3 for the Tournament

·         For each of the iCafes, 4 teams will be allowed participate in each of the 3 divisions. A total of 12 teams per café and 36 per area.

·         At the end of the iCafe level tournament, each of the 3 Tournament iCafes will have 3 winning teams from each division and a total of 9 in the area.

·         All 9 teams will compete in the Mall tournament in that area. At the end of the tournament, there will be 3 teams to represent the area for each division.

·         Come domination, all 18 teams from 6 areas and 3 divisions will complete.

·         At the end of the Dom1nation Tournament, three teams will be declared winner representing each division.

The Level Progression Event will allow existing and new gamers to gain special enhancement items as they reach specific target level requirements!
The event will start after the scheduled Server Maintenance of October 7th and will end before the Scheduled Server Maintenance of November 4th.

How to Participate
1.    Check your character level and target amount of level achievement before the event starts on October 7th.
2.    Achieve the required level achievement target before the event ends.
Ex) My character is Level 100 before October 7th Scheduled Server Maintenance. I need to achieve Level 115 by November 4th in order to get the Reward- Core Enhancer High x4.
3.    Wait for the Event Prize to be distributed by the end of the event period.

This month of October, the GMs will be aiding courageous CABALists in raiding the CHAOS Arena Dungeons. Starting October 6, 2008, the GMs will randomly enter the Chaos Arena dungeons to help gamers gain the hidden loots of the Chaos Arena Map.

How to join:
Gamers must have Chaos Arena Entry Keys [Miracle Keys] in order to enter the Chaos Arena Map.
These keys are available in the CABAL Item Shop or by crafting them with the necessary ingredients.
Wait for the GM Announcement on which CHAOS Arena Level and which Premium Channel the GMs will be visiting.
The GMs will visit only 1 Server per Day and will randomly enter the Chaos Arena Map.

Please take note of the CHAOS Arena Schedules below:

This is CABAL ONLINE: The Revolution of ACTION!

A few weeks after Capt. Abraxas left the home of Officer Henkoff for Fort Ruina, a shocking incident occurred in Bloody Ice. A heavily injured and emaciated man appeared in town.

“Those who dare to oppose the Evil must be stopped!” he shouted.

The townspeople were so shocked that they didn’t dare to come near him to help. By the time Officer Henkoff arrived, the unidentified person was already dead. Officer Henkoff picked up the man’s belongings—a broken GPS and a bloody leather journal—and ordered the soldiers to take the body to the memorial house. “We will give him a proper burial,” he said.

The Chief couldn’t imagine what the man did to earn those horrible wounds or grasp the meaning of his last words. He read the journal but nothing comprehensible can be found, except for the last words written in the last page:

‘I, and we are the Protectors of Perfect Legacy’
‘Five names, together one heart’
‘Those who cover the legacy by masking themselves with fear will be punished’
 
Giving up, he handed the journal to the scholars and asked them to analyze its content. Days passed by, until finally, the scholars were back to give their full report to Officer Henkoff.

“The man who died was Cornicus, the famous adventurer and treasure hunter. We don’t know if the journal can be trusted but this is what it says: Cornicus and his fellow adventurers found an ancient ruin which seemed to have originated from the Honorable Ages,” the scholars reported.

“When they investigated the area, they learned that the site was called the Arena, a battleground built by the Clan of the Perfect Protectors. According to our records, this clan disappeared several decades ago after stealing the Perfect Cores—cores so powerful that whoever holds them can rule the world,” they continued.

“Cornicus believed that the Clan hid the cores deep inside the five levels of the Arena. However, monsters stronger than anything that we can imagine have made their residence in the area. He left instructions on how to enter the place. Perhaps if we apply C.A. Transmutation Theory to it, we can recreate the things that he called Miracle Key,” the scholars concluded.

The news about the Perfect Cores and the arena spread throughout Nevareth. With the war raging between Procyon and Capella, both Nations are on the race to get them, believing that with the Perfect Cores, they can gain the upper hand in the war.

Mechanics
1. In order to participate in the event, gamers must proceed to the entrance of the Chaos Arena located in Bloody Ice (Coordinates: X:10, Y:28).
2. The maximum number of players who can enter the Chaos Arena is 21 per Level. 
3. Five (5) different levels of the Chaos Arena will be opened in every channel.
4. Players enter the map according to their level.
5. Players must have the required Miracle Keys to enter the Chaos Arena.
6. Players can craft Miracle Keys using the materials found in-game. They can also purchase the Keys from the CABAL Cash Shop.

Chaos Arena Rules
1. The Chaos Arena is open for 25 minutes. Players can no longer enter the Chaos Arena 5 minutes after it opened.
2. Monsters will appear as soon as the gate of the Chaos Arena is destroyed.
3. As time goes by, higher level monsters will appear in Chaos Arena. Boss monsters will appear in the later part of the event.
4. Monsters will drop all types of Cores, including the highest type of Upgrade Cores. Boss monsters will also drop other types of items.
5. The Chaos Arena is only completed after the players have killed the boss monster.
6. Players who died inside the Chaos Arena will be teleported to Bloody Ice unless they have Odd Circle. Players can only use Odd Circle once.

Chaos Arena Schedules:
12:00AM, 4:00AM, 8:00AM, 12:00PM, 4:00PM and 8:00PM everyday.

Captain Abraxas was in his usual comfort zone, that is, within the company of age-old books and scrolls. He was in the Library, with book shelves almost reaching the ceiling. The Library also had a small narrow window which provided a view of the night skies. The aged scholar was deep in thought with the mysteries surrounding his quest for the missing artefact. Time was of the essence as he could feel the evil forces of the CABAL conspiring to bring his mission to an end.

Abraxas was so engrossed with his studies that he barely noticed the door being frantically opened and hearing the sound of Naain’s ragged breath. He turned around to see Naain collapse on her knees, panting.

“What’s the matter with you? You look like you’ve been chased by demons,” he asked.

“N-not just that, C-captain,” Naain gasped. “T-the stars! The stars!” She pointed to the window, her breaths uneven.

“Nonsense, child. I already checked those last night. Nothing’s amiss with the cosmic alliance of the stars,” Abraxas scoffed.

He was about to motion Naain to the adjoining room to discuss his latest discoveries when the ground shook beneath his feet. It was no ordinary quake. The earth shook so much that it nearly toppled the bookshelves surrounding him. Naain let out a small cry as one large book shelf was about to topple but Abraxas got hold of Naain’s collar and pulled her aside before it fell on her. The quake subsided but the room was getting stifling with tension. Abraxas and Naain went outside to check on their surroundings.

He wasn’t able to look around that much though. His eyes were transfixed on the inky black sky with stars in unusual alignments. Judging from the expletive he uttered, this was no ordinary phenomenon.

“T-this can’t be happening!” Abraxas exclaimed, his eyes still riveted to the sky. The stars Naain was mentioning were aligned in a nearly parallel fashion. This was indeed ominous.

Such cosmic alignment spelled bad news for the people of Nevareth. In his previous studies of history, such occurrence meant the advent of the Star of Destruction, one that always brought a plague of evil and devastation.

Abraxas was only able to remove his gaze from the sky when he heard a thunderous noise outside the city gates.

He heard screams and shouts.

“We’re being attacked by monsters! Run! Run for your lives!”

The following scenes flashed before Abraxas’ eyes like a dream: terrified screams everywhere, people scampering in various directions, a thunderous crash, and swarms of monsters invading the city.

Amidst all the chaos that surrounded him, Abraxas noticed a lone figure standing in the middle of the mayhem. A Force Archer was gathering energy into the twin crystals in her hands.

He was about to shout a warning when the Archer let out a Prismatic Arrow onto a small mob of monsters. He saw the lot disappear as the powerful force hit them, their flesh disintegrating.

The Archer did not stop with just one blow. She released a myriad of arrows, her hands blurring at the speed of her attack. Scores upon scores of monsters fell against her powerful skills. However, the forces of evil did not go down so easily. Instead of moving away from the persistent Archer, more monsters flocked towards her.

Despite the Archer’s swift movement, the number of enemies was nearly overwhelming her. She was unable to evade one monster’s deadly blow; the shock of its impact sent her to her knees.

Abraxas couldn’t stand to watch any longer. Running towards the Force Archer, he waved his hand releasing an Energy Field, immobilizing the enemies as he quickly grabbed the wounded hero to safety.

“That was suicide, and you know it,” Captain Abraxas berated. Despite the Archer’s wounds, she still managed to break out a smile. “I had to do it,” she replied.

“Who are you?” he asked. Surely this noble soldier was not the ordinary type. No one has displayed such bravery and strength despite the odds against them.

“I am called the GM. GM Amethy is my name,” she rasped. “I need your help, sir. The attack nearly drained me of all my powers. I need the help of the people to help me find some items in order for me to regain my strength. Once I have my powers back, we can fight this evil in our midst.”

Abraxas could only nod. He has heard of the fabled GMs and how their powers can help turn the tide in battle. This was the opportunity he was looking for.
